I’m so thrilled I lived long enough to experience this technology. Got the Premium edition for $5 bucks. Best five bucks I ever spent. Push the microphone and say the word, and bingo, there it is, both dictionary and thesaurus. How incredible! As a college student writing term papers, I could spend hours flipping through the dictionary my family gave me for high school graduation, trying to find just the right word. Now it’s instantly in front of me. Oh, the joy that floods my soul! Thank you Mr. Webster for hiring computer geeks! Love those people!!

I could have sworn that I saw that the cost of this app was $4.99 for the Pro version. Right after I purchased the app, I received a notification from my credit card company that I had paid $48.95. Is this correct?
  • A little lite

The app works well. I wish, though, it offered access to a more comprehensive colle Timon of words. 5 stars for the app. 3 stars for the lite collection

Literally so confused.... I remember this dictionary always being very thorough especially during my childhood (in book version). I just bought the premium version in support of the dictionary BC I’ve always been a fan... however then I started using it and realized that it no longer is very descriptive. Definitions have been extremely simplified and there are not multiple definitions anymore. I prefer more complicated definitions because then you can tell subtle differences between words. I don’t know how this got so over simplified. Perhaps I’m just mad because it’s not the same as before, and plus I paid for the premium only to find out it’s not the same anymore. What happened to the 10 different convoluted definitions and the one simplified definition at the very top I remember from like... 2016-2018!??!!!!?
  • Very good, but...

While this is my go-to app, there are a few shortcomings which keep it from being a ‘five’. First is the inability within the app to back fill mistyped letters or two words which run together, as I might add is being done on my iPhone as I type this. Second, there are too many ‘urban dictionary’ or other more esoteric words that I feel should be available. Perhaps there is another version of this app which is more robust.
