The voting and scoring system is very flawed. The voters often fail to consider whether the design even fits the style that it is supposed to be. Also voters seem to favor very visual clutter over imaginative balance. The concept of bringing in the outdoors or even tying the design into feature walls or ceilings, seems to be lost on the voters. I am also finding it progressively harder to complete designs without spending my own money

I used to love this game and I would play it all the time. That was until I got a new phone and tried downloading it again and putting in all of my information. I’m assuming nothing saved? Or it just wouldn’t let me have my old profile back? But I had to restart the whole game and that has ruined it for me. I haven’t played it since
  • No customer service, not fulfilling offer requests

I have played this game for 2 years and have loved it. About 1 month ago, the structure for fulfilling offers for diamonds was changed to some type of verification format, which is fine...if it actually worked. I completed several offers that required me to spend real world money to obtain a high level of diamonds. The verification was usually them contacting the companies to verify email address and such and 3 or the 4 went thru within a week. The 4th one and the largest amount of diamonds (over 100,000) Is now on over a month and a half and no approval. I have for the now 4th time provided them with the verification info requested(Email address associated with account and screenshots to my email showing I purchased product). This has come from 4 different agents all different case numbers and still nothing. It always results in me getting an email that states they are going to close ,y case if I don’t reply ...I do and then nothing for weeks until the same email comes asking for the same information. If it has become a scam to get us to pay for advertisers service and not promise to fulfill I will no longer play this game or spend money with deceptive things like this going on. It’s very hurtful and scary

I have been playing this game for years. It’s fun and frustrating at the same time. 1) I believe when I first started playing the game, the blue icon things purchased came from my accumulated money account while the purple icon items came from diamonds. Now it seems to be a crap shoot as to which account will be charged. I read everything I could find in the instructions and couldn’t find an explanation. 2) This is a very greedy game meaning that icons are placed strategically so the player has to “buy” more items. For instance, instead of using one piece of wall art centered on a wall, the game “offers” you 2 adjacent places to hang wall art. If you only hang one piece of art, the art will be off center. 3) The game lacks imagination. Furniture is arranged in one of two patterns almost all the time. And of course, it is arranged so that you must buy unnecessary furniture. 4) The opportunities to earn free diamonds by doing a task works about 40% of the time. I have spent nearly an hour doing a task requiring my opinion on a legal case before it goes to trial that didn’t deliver the promised reward. The instructions do give recourse to contact and leave info about the offer that didn’t pay. The instructions inform that it will take several weeks for the player to be notified why it didn’t work. Sadly, I have tried many different offers and as mentioned, about 40% work. The other 60% take your email address and start sending advertisement emails. I’d bet the companies offering free diamonds pay Design House to promote their companies through the game, but Design House does a poor job of vetting these companies. Design House wins because it is paid by the ad companies. The ad companies get what they pay for: your opinions and email addresses. The player doesn’t get diamonds promised 60% of the time and the player gets an inbox of unwanted ads. Once again, Design House is greedy. 5) Design house has not been developed with the player in mind. It has been developed to sell advertisement to furniture/accessory vendors. The player must scroll down through each category without being able to filter on price. That way, the user is actually forced to view all furniture/accessories even if the player doesn’t have enough points to buy expensive things thus benefitting the companies by advertising all the furniture/decor. 6) if you contact Design House with a question/complaint, Design House doesn’t always address it. 7) Scoring is a joke. Although my understanding is that scores are voted on by players, it sure seems that in room purchases factor in. For instance, if a player buys a $2000 sofa, the score may be higher than if the player uses an almost identical $2000 sofa from the player’s inventory. Anyway, if a person plays the game to score well, she will be greatly disappointed. The game can only be enjoyed if the player ignores scores.
